 Six Questions To Develop Business

“ Buyers is the real goal of any business “ so if the owner or decision maker don’t consider them and all their needs and how to reach them as the most important thing to your business , you will surly fail and in order not to fail here is a simple questions you should ask yourself to develop your business and increase sales rapidly.

1- Who Will Buy ? OR Who Should Buy From Me ?

Company or an Individual, Small firm or large group You must ask yourself this question at first to know How is your client/customer look alike and where this client/customer is exist and then you can identify the target market you will seek .
You can identify age, time, place, living style …etc. … and once you know them you are going to the next question…

2- What Buyer Desires ? OR If I Where The Buyer What I Will Ask For ?

At first when the producers was minor in the early 20th century they didn’t ask this question they just provide market with what they produced and it all sold out, buyer have no option but now in the 21st century it is totally the opposite as buyers have many options and alternatives and you have to know what your prospect client/customer desire, what is their needs, what are they prefer in competitor, so you must ask yourself and ask them too what they want and how you can appeal to them. Always aim to be special or offer better value for money than your competitors.

3- Am I Boring ?



Boring here is meaning : do I need to make some changes, what is competitors in market around me looks alike, what dose competitors do, what buyers says, what is their opinions, any way Changes are always for the follows reasons :
• Change to catch up with technical updates and world developments
• Change to freshen up your image and your modernizing your entire brand
• Change to solve a problem or a harm effect.


… Now you are not poor but do buyer know that you are not poor any more, so the next question is …

4- Are They Seeing Me ? OR Are They Knowing Me ?



The answer here is one word “ ADVERTISE ” but conditional with essential basic rules to get what you want from it, this basics are rotates around 3 things as follows:

Time :

must be suitable for client/customer to be sure that they likely have the need or desire to buy and the money to pay .

Place :

you must be near to your client/customer to make it easy for them to know about you and also easy for them to buy with the minimum efforts and time to reach you.
You have to use the channels you have effectively and create a new channels to make it easy to more clients than you already have, for example the clients how buy personally from a store may buy more online and the opposite is right too so if you make the both channels easy you will win more sales from both.

How :

Actually the previous Place & Time are have the same considerations as you will see below but in this HOW point the coming tow considerations are very important :
  • You as Seller: advertise must me suitable and matching your company identity and the item/service you offer.
  • Buyer : Advertise must me suitable and matching your target client/customer that you identify and matches their needs and desires to get the wanted reaction from them .
Also in the HOW you can do it alone or join other sellers , you can do it printed, digital or online, you can do it personally or by phone a lot of ways which we can discus in another article with a long details .
and As advertising and promotions are so close and almost the same so …

5- What If You Already Have Much Clients/Customers But You Want To Increase Their Sales ?

The answer is one word “ INCENTIVES “ but it must be the correct incentives.
So what is incentives ?


the answer here is one word also “ PROMOTIONS “ The offers you make to them and it take many forms but it is all rotate on 2 ideas as follows :
Less Money :which is Discounts on present or future sales OR Commission if your existing client/customers introduce new customers to you .
Extra Units For Same Money Amount: and this type is more successful in retail business.


Now … If you already asked yourself all above and you answered and implement it so it is time to the Final question …. What is the results? , what is the outcomes ? OR

6- Do We Have Fruits To Eat ?

To judge how successful you did you will need to ask your self two questions :
“ Did You Reach The Goals That You Setup At The First ? “ and to answer it you have to prepare a check list for the goals you set it up and see how far you achieve.
“ What Grade You Would Be If You Comparing Yourself To Competitors ? “ and to answer it you have to prepare a benchmark test and surveys to know your seniority in your market .
